George Saoud is a Florida licensed attorney, real estate entrepreneur, and small business owner. 

For the past 13 years, Mr. Saoud has served as in-house legal counsel for Fidelity National Financial (FNF), and currently serves in the role of State Underwriting Counsel and Vice President. In this role, Mr. Saoud is responsible for risk assessment and management, responding to real estate-related inquiries of key personnel and managing valuation of risks in issuing title insurance policies on real estate transactions. He also represents the interests of FNF when interacting with attorneys, real estate brokers, lenders and their clients, & the public on general inquiries as well as giving presentations on various real estate and title related topics.  Prior to his employment with FNF, Mr. Saoud was in private practice for 5 years wherein he litigated a range of legal disputes in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Saoud is simultaneously the owner and manager of The George Management Company, which is a holding entity for a real estate portfolio consisting of approximately 150,000 square feet of commercial rental property as well as various residential rental properties throughout Jacksonville. 

Mr. Saoud’s most notable real estate project has been the restoration of The Bryan Building in Downtown Jacksonville, which abuts James Weldon Johnson Park.  Under Mr. Saoud’s ownership, the building has attracted retail tenants such as Happy Grilled Cheese and Back to the Grind coffee shop. 

Additionally, Mr. Saoud is creator of The Lark, an upscale urban loft located on the 3rd floor of the Bryan Building.  The Lark displays and promotes fine art by local and regional artists.  Additionally, The Lark hosts a variety of public and private events which attract hundreds of people a month to downtown from all over the city.

Mr. Saoud is an avid guitar player, art collector, and loves spending his free time with his amazing 6-month-old son and his beautiful wife.  The family regularly enjoys outings all over the city, including the Jacksonville Zoo and Riverside Arts Market.
