Linzee Ott is a proud native of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2014 with dual bachelor’s degrees in International Affairs and Political Science. During college, she interned for Rep. Ross Spano and Sen. Rob Bradley, and upon graduation, interned in Washington, D.C., at the U.S. Department of State. Linzee then returned to Florida, where she worked in the legislative offices of the Department of Health and Gov. Rick Scott, and later lobbied with The Fiorentino Group in Tallahassee before returning to her hometown in 2016. As Community Engagement Coordinator for Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office (SAO), Linzee acts as liaison between the SAO, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, City of Jacksonville, nonprofits, the faith-based community and service providers, working to coordinate the efforts of the SAO within the community as well as leverage existing resources and services at the systems level. She has volunteered with her neighborhood’s advocacy organization, the San Marco Preservation Society, since 2017, serving as the 2019-2020 Board President. Linzee is a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2022 and enjoys travel and all activities water-related in her free time.
