For Todd Higginbotham, improving Downtown Jacksonville is both a professional priority and a matter of deeply-rooted personal interest.

As a Jacksonville native who has spent his life in Northeast Florida, Todd takes hometown pride in Downtown as the center of business, government, culture, sports and entertainment in his community.

As the DIA’s Parking Strategy Coordinator, Todd helps lead development of innovative parking solutions in a Downtown that is evolving from a Monday-through-Friday office environment to a 24/7/365 urban district with a fast-growing residential population. He also oversees the three Downtown parking garages owned by the DIA.

Todd comes to the DIA with experience as a public policy research assistant for the Jacksonville Civic Council, and as a banking and loan professional. True to his ties to Duval County, he is a proud University of North Florida graduate with a Master of Public Administration degree and a bachelor’s in Political Science and Government.
